• Snow x2

  My patio is covered in snow that looks like hills and pyramids of sand. The wind has blown it into peaks and valleys and smatters and smudges. It's kind of pretty, really, but I feel like a backwoods shut-in. Spring fever, I suppose.

  It's still snowing and windy and teeth-chatteringly cold, and everything on earth is closed today... except my office. Why in the world wouldn't they just shut down? The roads are bad, the weather has not improved, it's Friday anyway... come on.

  I was working until 8 last night (from home) with people calling and e-mailing me, panicked about submitting applications for this program on time (they were due last night at 5). I told my boss that this morning, so she is letting me come in at noon. Well, that's something anyway.

  Back to my warm, cozy bed for awhile.
